A New Season

Well, a new season is upon us. Our album has been out for 3 months now, and we have gotten some great feedback. It is amazing to me that every person I have spoken to has a different favorite song on our album. Some like the faith building tune God of the Impossible, others like the easy listening tune We're Making Room, while others like the confrontational truth of You Ain't Big Enough, or the psalmist's heart of I'll Praise You. There is a little something for everyone no matter where they are in their walk with the Lord. Many people have asked me if I have a favorite. That is a tough thing to answer since they were all birthed through different circumstances. It would be like you as a parent, being asked to choose which one of your kids is your favorite. I believe each song comes to the forefront in its time and season. There are three of them currently that have had my attention. For the last 3 months I have been walking through a season of rest and recovery from a major surgery. You will find as you walk through different seasons in your life you will be drawn to different songs. For me, the passionately intimate tune Trust and Obey is where I have been for some time. The second has been Victory Is Sealed. This song is a declaration of finality. The victory is ours for it has already been won. This is where you stand your ground and silence the enemy with the word of the Lord. The last song that has been rolling around in my spirit is Take the Limits Off. It is time to remove all constraints that have been holding us down or holding us back from all that the Lord has for us to do. It also is a call to let God be God in your life in ALL areas. Don't limit Him either. Sometimes we can be very good at doing just that. This high energy faith building and encouraging song is just what the doctor ordered for me at this time. What one is speaking to you in this season?
